Premier DOUG FORD is doing damage control after seemingly giving Toronto Mayor OLIVIA CHOW his blessing for another term — and rattling some members of the Tory clan in the process.
At an announcement featuring the pair last Wednesday, Ford had praised their “phenomenal relationship” and said Chow was doing an “incredible job” when asked about an endorsement. He told reporters to “read between the lines.”
And plenty did. That includes Chow’s main challenger, BRAD BRADFORD, who quickly branded it as a full-on endorsement and argued that Chow has been easy for Ford to push around: “She’s the easiest negotiation he ever had.”
