Shuffle-mongers had plenty to say about yesterday’s edition, which got into the buzz around the possibility that DOUG FORD could shake up his front bench soon. Expect more of that today.
While some of the chatter suggests Ford could change the broader cabinet roster as early as next week, especially with CAROLINE MULRONEY resigning, others suggest the Premier is biding his time.
He could be forced to do it sooner than later — especially if, as rumour has it, Finance Minister PETER BETHLENFALVY and Sport Minister NEIL LUMSDEN call it quits, or if the Integrity Commissioner’s report into embattled Labour Minister DAVID PICCINI’s handling of the Skills Development Fund comes out with anything damaging (Recall: Ford only booted then-Housing minister STEVE CLARK after the watchdog’s report was released).
