PREMIER’S POLLING WOES AREN’T GOING AWAY
Another day, another bad-news poll for DOUG FORD.
One week after Angus Reid pegged the Premier’s approval at a measly 21 per cent and ranked Ford dead last among the country’s first ministers, another survey suggests things aren’t getting any better for him.
Before we dig into the latest from Liaison Strategies, an update on Ford’s beef with the non-profit pollster that he shrugged off as “fake” and skewed toward critics: Angus Reid has sent the Premier a legal letter, saying they “stand by its work” and “long record of independent, non-partisan public opinion research.”
“We do not intend to litigate this issue in the media, but we do believe the public record should be corrected.”
Today’s numbers probably won’t do much to cool Ford’s sore spot.
