We called it! — The hotly anticipated cabinet shuffle went down Thursday, featuring some fresh blood, familiar faces and new portfolios. Here’s what you need to know.
Perhaps the biggest storyline of the day was DAVID PICCINI getting schlepped from Labour over to Infrastructure. That’s at least a lateral move or arguably even a promotion for the Minister who’s been taking flak for his handing of the Skills Development Fund and who is currently the subject of an ethics probe.
Critics were quick to pounce.
Liberal interim leader JOHN FRASER accused Premier DOUG FORD of “protect(ing) his own. Piccini is under investigation over millions — so Ford put him in charge of billions.”
