Another day, another doozy of a DOUG FORD presser…

Ford kicked off the transit announcement with an off-the-cuff riff about bringing back Toronto’s Taste of the Danforth, saying the crowded street festival was like a “mob scene” with his late brother ROB FORD.

“I’m going off-script, I always get in trouble. Do you know what I miss? I miss the Taste of the Danforth,” the Premier told reporters. He said he would fork over money to bring back the popular event, which has faced repeated post-pandemic cancellations — so long as Toronto Mayor OLIVIA CHOW pitches in.

“Mayor, you’re not getting off scot-free. You put a little, but we’ll put a little more in.”
