INSIDE THE GREENS’ CASH HAUL
Last week, I told you what was in the year-end books for the PCs and the NDP, and today, it’s all about the Greens, who are fresh off a weekend convention in Hamilton, where there are whispers of a byelection sooner than later.
Don’t forget: These receipts wouldn’t cover expenses and income during the February campaign period. Here’s who got the biggest payouts on the annual returns…
$370,463 overall for advertising, $52,237 of which went to Meta, which owns Facebook, and $14,520 of which went to EOK Consults
$201,572 to Keys 360 Marketing, for telemarketing
JMA Consulting raked in $9,322
Oraclepoll Research got $9,605 for polling
The Greens ended the year with $780,344 in the bank, after expenses. Before those deductions, they clocked in at more than $2.3 million in income, including nearly $1.5 million in donations and $640K from the taxpayer-funded per-vote subsidy.
